The Whale Dreamer is the first in a multi-book series. At its core is a love story between a young girl and an elder whale — a storytelling adventure that invites readers into a world where our connection to the ocean, Earth, and one another becomes the single great story we must reclaim.
The multi-book series begins with Kelley, a young girl who is the last ambassador between worlds of land and ocean — and is the key to our collective future. As the waves of the Sixth Mass Extinction rise, Kelley hears the whales’ call and steps into a quest that transforms the old myth of “the power of one” into the emerging truth of our times: the power of the collective.
The Whale Dreamer gave rise to The Whale Council — born in response to a shared call to care for water, whales, and the nature of change. Rooted at the intersection of story, science, and sacred activism, the Council is strengthened by community and guided by the collective genius that emerges when we gather across sectors, generations, and traditions.
We are elders, youngers, scientists, artists, youth, activists, and guardians of land and sea — rebuilding the relational capacity required to meet this moment of transition on our planet.
The Whale Council creates a sanctuary where dreaming is not an escape from reality, but a disciplined practice of listening for what is ours to do — alone and together.
