Inner Landscape: Navigating Our Way Home

Erin Lindbergh

Thursday April 29 10am-12pm Pacific Time

When harnessed, the energy of elemental opposites can inspire and strengthen the spirit, brighten our senses, crack open our hearts and illuminate the way home.

Erin will guide you on a gentle and perceptive exploration through the Inner Landscape; navigating the mind-body terrain, through somatic yoga movement, breath, mantra (sacred soundings) and mudras (hand yoga).

Her somatic approach allows one to re-pattern neuromuscular tendencies by harnessing the energies of apparent opposites. Learning to dance with dualites allows us to become more receptive, less protected, more integrated; even beliefs about trauma, injury and growing old can shift into a fluid, more agile and joyful approach to navigating the terrain of life. Navigating our inner landscape awakens our capacity to listen, and to be receptive and open instead of feeling overwhelmed and contracted by stimuli. The embodiment of this natural practice allows the authentic voice within to courageously express that which yearns to be shared and witnessed.

In this two hour class, you will:

  • Explore the dynamic relationship of the sacred vertical and horizontal axis
  • Practice the medicine of mudras and corresponding sacred sounds
  • Move sequentially in and out of stillness and flow, release and action, stillpoint and spaciousness
  • Replenish the parasympathetic nervous system
  • Sound your Soul
About Erin Lindbergh

She is a tendress of the terra firma and a writer of its story, a yogini of moving poetry, an Ayurvedic nurturer, a devotee of ducks, songbird of the soul, inspired by the oracle of orchids and the rhythm of the ocean.

Praise for Erin Lindbergh

"Erin's teaching method is as powerful as a tropical storm but with the delivery of a gentle breeze. She is the best yoga instructor I have ever encountered, gifting us with the bodily wisdom of decades of practice." -Cee Elbert ~ Farmer & Artist ~ Hana, Maui

“Erin unites Yoga with Aloha. Her practice connects people to their inner self, the land, aina and the sky, lani.  Her gentle, sweet voice of guidance combined with the singing bowl is nectar to the god of Maui.” -Allen Greenberg ~ Artist ~ Pacific Palisades, CA

On Being Remarkable: Public Speaking as a Sacred Art

Celia Alario

Thursday May 6 10am-12pm Pacific Time

In this playful, interactive session we’ll explore the sacred act of giving voice to what is on our minds and in our hearts. We’ll bring intention and alchemy to four areas of public speaking preparation: Content, Intent, Style, and Mindset. What important ideas long to be expressed by you, and what do you need to speak that spark in a way that feels authentic and germane? What rituals will you create to prepare your remarks? And what attitudes will you tune up so that sharing leaves you feeling fully self-expressed and is received by your audiences as remarkable, sacred and irresistible? Whether one-on-one or in front of a large group, and whether you consider yourself an introvert or an extravert, public speaking mastery is possible for all of us--it all begins in the sanctuary of the soul.

**Please arrive at this session with something you want to share: a 3-5 minute presentation or talk, a rant, a poem, even the seed of an idea to practice with during our time together.**

In this two hour class, you will:

  • Explore methods for grounding in your intentions, so that your content can emerge from the heart with ease and clarity
  • Center your audience so you can speak what you need to share in a way that aligns with what your audience needs and is ready to hear
  • Develop rituals for before and after talks, to make preparation and evaluation sacred
  • Learn tips and tools for aligning your mindset and self-compassion as a force to drive your speaking prowess

You Are Enough: Meditation for Resilience and Radical Change

Justin Michael Williams

Thursday May 13 10am-12pm Pacific Time

Meditation is not about relaxing, it’s about BECOMING MORE ALIVE. And if you grew up in the struggle—overcoming homophobia, sexism, trauma, shame, depression, poverty, toxic masculinity, racism, or social injustice—you need a different type of meditation… one that doesn’t pretend the struggle doesn’t exist. This isn’t your typical mindfulness workshop. In this session, you will learn how to use meditation to overcome what Justin calls “internal oppression,” and how to pinpoint the wounds that seem to be stopping you every time you try to grow. You’ll also be guided through a proprietary process of discovering your Unique Energy Signature so that you can experience what Justin calls “Radical Resilience.”

Prepare to experience a dynamic journey with Justin that will include a soulful talk, music, a mindfulness practice and education, which from the ground up, have been built to welcome all ages, genders, identities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses. Regardless of your identity—you are welcome here.

In this two hour class, you will learn:

  • What it means to decolonize meditation and make it accessible to “the rest of us”
  • A “Dream Bigger Meditation” that connects us to our true dream for our lives
  • How to discover your “unique energy signature,” and how knowing this signature can become a touchstone for you during difficult times
  • Engaging the “Revolution Inside” and bringing that revolution to the outer world
